Which one are you? Are you the extrovert who gets excited as soon as the word "party" is heard? Or are you the introvert who is already trying to think of an excuse to get out of going so you can just stay home?
Sure, everyone likes some soft snuggly clothes, but if they make up the majority of your clothing collection, your wardrobe may be trying to tell you something. Actually, it's screaming "introvert!" Well, that's much better than it saying "I'm stuck in the '90s" or something, right?
The creator of these insightful comics is Marzi Wilson. As an introvert herself, she sure hits the nail on the head in getting to the heart of an introverted person, doesn't she? Marzi calls her work Introvert Doodles.
What would your dream house be like? If you're an extrovert, you may want large areas for entertaining. If you're an introvert, you may long for what Marzi drew here: a glass tower for looking at the stars and a bed built into a wall of books.
Marzi's work sometimes goes beyond the standard cartoon. These "Anxiety Reward Stickers" go deep in creatively showing how real the introvert's struggle can get. Although both extroverts and introverts can be creative types, introverts tend to have a stronger, more introspective focus.
And probably only introverts would get the need to be rewarded for making a phone call.
8. Do You Find Yourself Making Up Excuses To Be Alone?
This cartoon does a really relatable job of showing how even the most standard social norms can feel not so normal for introverts. Marzi has said she started Introvert Doodles as a way to express how she often feels as an introvert in a world full of extroverts.
Traveling as an introvert can be very different from hitting the road as an extrovert. There's likely going to be more books packed and more drive-through stops rather than eating in noisy diners. There's probably also going to be less conversation, and less passengers too.
If you can relate to Marzi's cute "Introvert Starter Kit' then you may not be able to deny your introvert status any longer. You know you're a full-fledged card carrying introvert if seeing this cartoon makes you seriously long for a doorknob sign that reads "Go Away" rather than the standard "Please Do Not Disturb."
