It goes without saying...

No it doesn't! For the love of God, does no one see that that phrase is absolutely nonsensical? If it went without saying, then who would even need that phrase?

If it actually did 'go' without saying, then it would be unnecessary to say 'it goes without saying...'. And if it indeed does go without saying and you say 'it goes without saying...' then you are a moron, because you are not recognizing the fact that what you just said does not need saying.

The only time the phrase 'it goes without saying' makes any sense is as an answer or emphasizing someone else's statement. Here is an example:

Jon: Baby poop is still poop, and is not cute.
Jane: That goes without saying.

Now of course if you are a degenerate parent who can't figure out that showing your baby's full diaper to someone is NOT cute, you wouldn't understand that that goes without saying. So I guess with this rant we have come to the conclusion that idiots will be idiots and keep doing and saying idiotic things that shouldn't be done or don't need to be said. I wish I didn't have to say that.

It's not 'I could care less'!

It makes no sense to say "I could care less"! That statement means that it is possible for you to care less, meaning that you at least care a little. What you really mean to say is, "I couldn't care less". I'm sure it is crystal clear to you now, but you could care less about what I have to say.
