Back in the day, you could run over this little phone with a bulldozer and it’d be fine. Oh, and if this thing was buried in a time capsule and dug up a millennium later, it’s battery would be at around a 70 percent. Well, the Nokia 3310 made a comeback in 2017, albeit with some modern-day “upgrades,” like a (crappy) camera and a color screen. But, what you’re really buying here is a piece of your adolescence.
Chokers were all the rage back in the day, and over the last couple years they’ve made one of the biggest comebacks on this lit. The tattoo plastic choker is literally everywhere. But, the spins on the choker are getting out of hand. Take this Puma Fenty by Rihanna for example. Sorry Riri, that looks like a straight-up neck brace.
It’s alive! It’s alive! It’s Total Request Live. I used to get home after school, plop down in front of the TV and get me some TRL. Well, it’s coming back. It will be t back on the air in October and will be filmed in the original Times Square studio. Unfortunately, Carson Daly won’t be hosting.
Kylie Jenner proved that having the word “Juicy” spread across your a** in 2017 is totally cool again. Yep, Juicy tracksuits, the ones made popular by Paris, Lindsay and Britney back in the day, are back. You can get your Juicy Couture fix at Urban Outfitters right now.
Look at the Kris Kardashian’s youngest bringing all the aughts nostalgia back. Yep, celebrities like Kylie Jenner are bringing the Von Dutch trucker caps back, much to everyone’s dismay. This is one that should have been buried in the past, somewhere way down there with Furbies and Uggs.
THIS is one that I’m personally super pumped for. Don’t blue yourself, but The Bluths and your favorite analrapist are coming back to Netflix sometime in 2018 for the fifth season of Arrested Development. This is officially the only thing I’m looking forward to in 2018.
I was totally content not having to smell another cucumber melon combination ever again. But alas, Bath & Body Works is bringing it back. I still have the smell burned into my nostrils from every girl dousing themselves with this in homeroom.
No, not this travesty. Unfortunately, popped-collars are becoming a thing again. Prada recently debuted their spring-summer 2018 collection…and it was riddled with popped collars. I am unfortunately a victim of this trend. But, it was literally forced upon me when I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch in 2005.
Christian Aguilera has been busy doing a lot of things, like hosting TV shows and working and being an Oreo spokeswoman. But, people are demanding music from her just like back in the aughts! It probably won’t be as “dirty,” but we’ll take anything we can get.
… and not a drop to spare … on your lousy construction paper art. You know why? Cause it’s going all over our bodies! Yep, body glitter is back. There’s even a kind of disgusting makeup trend called “glitter roots” that looks like you’ve got monster dandruff.
This by far has to be the best one on the list, right? I don’t even know what idiot decided it would be a good idea to discontinue it. But, they’re back! Now I can make all my poor nutritional decisions first thing in the morning. Yay!
So many great shows are coming back in 2017. Will & Grace… nd Karen and Jack, are coming back for a 10-episode limited season sometime in the end of 2017. At least there will be some good TV to occupy my uneventful life in the near future.
I’m not even going to get started on this one. Yeah, crop tops were big back in the aughts. But now, literally 90 percent of the shirts I own are crop tops. I don’t even know what a whole shirt is supposed to look like anymore.
Remember forcing your mom into the pre-teen hell hole? Well, Limited Too is coming back in pop-up form. I don’t even know why this is a thing. People who are old enough to even remember shopping at Limited Too have no, and I MEAN NO, business shopping there now. Kids today won't even realize it used to be a huge franchise.
