This is a nifty one. I usually end up putting the ketchup on a napkin or in the burger carton. But at McDonalds you can flip the back of the fries container and turn it into a nice little dipping station.
If you want to get a Big Mac for only $1.39, here’s what you got to do. A former employee revealed that if you get a McDouble, and replace the ketchup and mustard with lettuce and Big Mac sauce, you essentially get a Big Mac. The only thing is that you won’t get sesame seeds on the bun.
To prevent your Subway sandwich from accumulating too much sauce at one end, turn the bag horizontally. You need to tie off the top of the bag, and then make a hole in the side. This way your sandwich will be evenly distributed.
If you want your breakfast sandwich to be made with a real egg at McDonalds, and not some mystery substitute, you need to do this. Ask that your sandwich be made with a “round” egg instead of a folded egg. The round egg is made right there in front of you in an egg ring. You may never know when the scrambled egg was made.
If you are a major carnivore, you might want to try this Chipotle hack. If you ask for two kinds of meat, you’re likely to end up getting more meat altogether. Some say about an entire half portion more. I guess it depends on how nice the person serving you is feeling.
You can get a Philly Cheesesteak at Subway, but you can essentially get the same thing for about $1.50 less. Instead of ordering the Philly, order a Double Steak and Cheese. The sandwich has more meat, and it’s cheaper.
If you like Hawaiian pizza, you can save a whopping $10 with this hack at Dominos. Instead of ordering the large Honolulu Hawaiian, you can order a large three-topping pizza with ham, pineapple and bacon. The Honolulu Hawaiian also has asiago parmesan and red peppers. You can add those to your three-topping pizza and still save $7.
This yummy creation is off McDonald’s Secret Menu. You just need to ask for the Apple Pie McFlurry. If they have pie that day (I find that they don’t very often), they will mix it into your ice-cream. Nom. Nom. Nom.
To get the freshest burger possible at Burger King, ask for a custom sandwich. That way the server is much less likely to take a patty from a premade sandwich. You can also ask for an “Off the Broiler” or “OTB” patty, to guarantee freshness.
If you want to guarantee that your fries are super fresh at Wendy’s, order them unsalted. That means the server will have to make a special batch of fries just for you. You can always salt them yourself later.
If you want more bang for your buck at Arby’s, then order two Junior Roast Beef Sandwiches instead of the Classic Roast Beef. The junior is essentially the same sandwich, just a little smaller. You also get more food because there are two of them.
Next time you are at Burger King, order some Frings. No, this is not a play on Breaking Bad’s Gus Fring. If you can’t decide between fries and onion rings, the Frings are a perfect combination of both of them.
